Zonneboot
The Zonneboot (Dutch for Sun boat) is equipped with a large sunroof. If the sun suddenly breaks through, the roof will open within seconds, and in an unexpected shower, you will be comfortable and dry, with the possibility to switch on the heating. Ideal to enjoy the summer days but also very pleasant in the winter.
The Zonneboot is the sister of the saloon boat Admiral Heijn. In appearance equal to a beautiful mahogany saloon, with faceted windows, and classic details such as the teak deck. However, the layout of the Zonneboot is different, it has a more spacious seating area, and bar and is equipped with a toilet.
Of course, the Zonneboot sails sustainably and electrically, making it quiet and comfortable on the canals. We are happy to arrange the snacks and drinks, but it is also possible to bring your own. We charge a small fee for corkage money and cleaning costs.
The Zonneboot is the ideal saloon boat for Friday afternoon drinks with colleagues, to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or just for a pleasant cruise with family and friends. With every occasion, no matter the weather, you’ll experience a wonderful boat tour!

Boarding: Boarding without any extra costs can be done at any public dock within the Canal District area (Singel – Herengracht – Keizersgracht – Prinsengracht – Singelgracht). Central and convenient boarding locations are the Homomonument (Jordaan area) and Koepelkerk (near Central Station).
If you prefer to board somewhere else, this is also possible. We’ll inform you about the nearest dock and additional costs.
Reservation: Fill in the contact form on the website, email or call us to request a quotation. You’ll get an answer within 24 hours. To finalize your reservation we ask for a deposit of 50% of the cost. You will receive a deposit invoice from us by email. This invoice can be paid online in a secured payment system (Credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, iDEAL, etc.) The remaining amount and any drinks and catering can be paid on board, in cash, or with a pin/credit card (MasterCard or Visa).

No hidden costs: Rates include private boat, skipper, boarding, and disembarking within the Grachtengordel. Price includes VAT and excludes entertainment fees (tourist tax).
